I recently started a series on how to start a business or how to open a martial arts school or gym. One of the subjects I get asked by people very often is when should I quit my day job? I made a very informative video on the subject (check it out here) It’s extremely rare for any of us to find our dream job. Even if we were fortunate enough to find that position it’s not always what we hoped it would be or our interests or passions shift, and we yearn to go in another direction. This brings me to "chasing your dreams" or "following your passion". In today’s world more and more of us are fortunate enough to be able to start a side hustle that is more passion than profession. From there we can sometimes turn that passion or our dreams into a reality or profession. However, we must be smart about how we do this, or we may risk everything by not giving ourselves time to grow and learn so we can better ensure success for ourselves while chasing our dreams. Here are my five reasons you should not quit your job while following your passion
