Kickboxing is another combat sport that is great for fitness but it is a bit different from Muay Thai. Kickboxing eliminates knees and elbows, and has almost no clinch work. Kickboxing is a combat sport based on kicking and punching historically developed from Karate, Muay Thai, and Western Boxing. Kickboxing is practiced for self defense, general fitness, and as a contact sport.
